Primary Care
Primary care is a health service you get from a primary care provider or primary care manager (or PCM) during a doctor’s visit. Some of these services include:
- Routine care for nonemergency and non-urgent care
- Routine screening, like an annual physical exam
- Follow-up care if you have ongoing medical problems
- Preventive health care, like immunizations and allergy shots
- Walk-in contraceptive clinic for active duty members
- Well-Women Physicals
- Family planning
- Patient education and counseling
Primary care also includes medically necessary diagnostic laboratory and X-ray procedures and tests. Primary care is used to treat adults and children, including infants and newborns.

Blue Team
“To Conserve Fighting Strength”
The mission of the FAHC Blue Team is to optimize the health, well-being, and medical readiness of the Active Duty Service Member. We accomplish this through our dedicated approach to Warfighter Medicine. Our clinic provides acute appointments, physical exams, medical readiness and deployment screenings in support of the military’s wartime mission.

Red/White Team
The White Team provides comprehensive medical care to the beneficiaries of Fox Army Health Center. This clinic offers a range of services including adult and family medicine as well as pediatrics and minor surgeries. All TRICARE Prime patients enrolled to Fox Army Health Center and assigned to this clinic will have a Primary Care Manager (PCM). TRICARE Prime patients will coordinate specialty care through their PCM thereby ensuring continuity, timeliness and appropriateness of referrals.
